Project HOPE
Our official philanthropy is Project HOPE. Project HOPE provides life-saving medical supplies and training to places in need. They are focused on building long-standing medical resources in the communities they serve. For more information check out Project HOPE here: https://www.projecthope.org/about-us/.

Locally we volunteer at Mission Point (formally known as Metron of Big Rapids) and WISE. We also participate in Adopt-a-Highway, Rake n' Run, the Big Event, and Relay for Life.
Social
We are associate members of our local Panhellenic Council. You have the option of participating in mixers with other greeks and in Greek Week.
We have sisterhoods at least once a month. Our virtual events include having Netflix nights and zoom game nights. Some fun events we had before COVID were doing crafting, going to a corn maze, going to the zoo, bowling, and participating in intramural sports.
Scholarship
We host several professional development events throughout the year including our annual Hygeia Day speaker and How to Apply to Pharmacy events. Our new biennium health topic is health disparities. We also have study groups, study hours, and a textbook exchange. Lambda Kappa Sigma also has pharmacy school scholarships that several of our members have won!
Leadership
We have 6 executive board positions as well as 24 other chair positions. You can also get involved on committees if you're not looking to take on a chair positions just yet. Every sister also has the opportunity to be a lamb pal and a big.
Travel & Networking
You have the opportunity to travel for our annual national convention. It is a great opportunity to network and get more involved! Convention 2021 will be held in Scottsdale, AZ from July 14-18, and we fundraise to reduce costs!
